Shey Phoksundo National Park covers an area 3,555 sq. km; buffer zone 1349 sq. km spreads Dolpa and Mugu districts situated in the Trans Himalayan region of northwest Nepal. It is the largest national park of Nepal established in 1984 A.D highlights of the park are Kanjiroba Himal, Shey Monastery, Phoksundo Lake and Langu Gorge etc.
