Mount Chulu West peak 6419 m in group “B” category climbing peak of NMA a popular trekking peak of Annapurna region. Chulu West peak is situated at Damodar Himalayan range in Annapurna conservation area at Manang District, Nepal. Chulu peak is situated in the Annapurna region Nepal which is one of the most marvelous regions of the world.
There are two peaks in peaks, Chulu West and Chulu East peak. While ascending the peak you can also see the stunning views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and few Himalaya peak. The peak was first climbed by a Japanese group of rock climbers. Climbing route is quite easy and the trekkers do not have to face any technical difficulty.
Ascent of Chulu west and Chulu Central are best made from a base camp in a small valley north of Manang situated off the main Annapurna trail to Thorong La pass 5416m. We establish two high camps to make a summit attempt.
One must have good health condition and lots of stamina to climb on Chulu west peak. Chulu West peak climbing expedition is suitable for both amateur traveler or for experienced mountain trekkers. But one must know the techniques of mountain climbing otherwise it’s better to do a small course on mountain climbing as it is proved to be helpful to be familiar with techniques of crampons, ice axe, harness, tying knots.
One of the major highlights of ascending this beautiful peak is breathtaking views of Annapurna Himalayan range that include Annapurna I, II, III and Annapurna IV, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu range as well popular peaks like; Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Tarke Kang could be seen from Chulu west summit. Previous climbing experience is not essential but high level of physical fitness is required to climb this peak.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, upon your arrival in Nepal our representative welcome and assists to transfer Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu tours and preparation for Chulu West climbing.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (823m.)
Day 04: Trek from Besisahar to Bahundanda(1,310m).
Day 05: Trek from Bahundanda to Tal.
Day 06: Trek from Tal to Bagarchhap.
Day 07: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame(2,630m).
Day 08: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.).
Day 09: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3305m.).
Day 10: Rest day at Manang for acclimatization.
Day 11: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4350m.
Day 12: Trek from Yak Kharka to Chulu west base camp.
Day 13: Trek from chulu west Base Camp to High Camp.
Day 14: Summit Chulu West Peak 6,419 m. and back to Base Camp.
Day 15: Trek from Chulu West Base Camp to Thorung Phedi.
Day 16: Cross Thorung La (5416m) then continue to Muktinath.
Day 17: Trek from Muktinath to Kagbeni (2895 m.).
Day 18: Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom (2650m.).
Day 19: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.
Day 20: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner.
