Sailung trekking Nepal
Sailung trek is the unexplored trekking destination of Nepal, it is less crowded easy hiking area of Nepal. Sailung trekking is named after hundred smaller hills, there are one hundred smaller hills are surrounding with Sailung so the name is given Sailung in Nepali word Sai mean hundred Lung mean windy hill.
Sailung trek takes you to Thulo Sailung (3100 m), it is a view point of vast Himalayan range from Makalu to Dhaulagiri. Beside that you can get the opportunity to see the plain region of Nepal as well as the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest (8848 m). offers magnificent views of eastern Himalayas and encounter with several different ethnic people such as Sherpa, Bramin, Chhetri , Magar, pahari, Majhi etc.
Trekking routes decorated with pristine nature, unspoiled culture, and splendid scenes of the Himalayan range from the closest distance. Sailung is a famous Hindu pilgrimage it is non touristy trail offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty, biological diversity and socio-economic situation and life style. Sailung trekking journey starts from Dolakha and ends at Namo buddha then drive back to Kathmandu.
Sailung has a unique environment and is exceptionally rich in bio-diversity which makes this region one of the finest tourist destinations in Nepal, it is not necessary any previous hiking and trekking experience, just normal walking experience is enough. Best season for this trek are February to May and August to November operates in camping basic only.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, upon your arrival our representative assists to transfer hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and preparation for Sailung trek.
Day 03: Drive to Mude trek to Lamche Ahal (2300m).
Day 04: Trek to Khola Kharka via Thulo Sailung (3146m).
Day 05: Trek from Khola Kharka to Dhormba Gompa (2100m).
Day 06: Trek from Dhorma to Gurase Bhanjyang (2300m).
Day 07: Trek from Gurase Bhanjyang to Bholung Village (920m).
Day 08: Trek from Bholung Village (920m) to Chapkhore (1833m).
Day 09: Trek from Chapkhore to Kottimal (1960m).
Day 10: Trek from Kottimal (1960m) to Namo Buddha (1800m).
Day 11: Trek to Panauti then drive to Kathmandu.
Day 12: After this amazing Sailung trek if you are interested for other activities like Safari, Rafting, Biking, Tours, Peak climbing or more trekking in other region we can organize as your desire. If you decide to leave Nepal we will transfer to airport for your onward destination.
