Being located near Tibetan border north to Kathmandu, Langtang Ganja la pass trek is the Nepal’s accessible trekking route. Therefore, with moderately high elevation and close proximity, it is an interesting place that no trekker lover should miss.

Main feature of Ganja la pass trekking is an entirely wilderness adventure experience. Highest point of this trip is Ganja La Pass 5130m. Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just below the main Himalaya range to the north Tibet Border and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south, Langtang national park popular Kyanjin, langtang surrounded by the snowy mountains. People residing in this region are said to be of Tibetan origin, although they introduce themselves to be as Tamang and Sherpa. When Ganjala pass trail crossing the Ganja la it leads to Tarke Ghyang and Malemchigaon.

Langtang ganja la pass trek starts from Sybru Bensi, ends at Melamchi Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you reach to Kyanjin Gompa 3,049. Kyanching is enclosed in the west by Mt. Langtang Lirung and the north east by Kangchenpo. There is a very small Buddhist monastery at Kyanjing Gompa, including a cheese factory.

While crossing the pass, the trekker can enjoy the spectacular views of Tibetan peaks found beyond and Langtang Lirung. The last 100m of the trail is said to be very precarious and hence, rope is to be used for safety. The descent from pass is a steep slope of more than 1 km and requires the trekker to take utmost precaution.

However, the remaining trail is comfortable and easy. Since, there are no settlements and lodges here along the way; for two nights the group needs to be adequately equipped with food and tent materials. The whole trekking journey lasts for about 14 days and is filled with excitement and fun.

Day 01: Welcome to Nepal, upon your arrival in Nepal our representative welcome and assists to transfer hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu city tours and preparation for upcoming trek.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1503 m).

Day 04: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2410 m).

Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430m).

Day 06: Trek from Langtang village to Kyangjuma Gompa (3830 m)

Day 07: Kyanjin Gompa explore day.

Day 08: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Kangja la phedi (4960m)

Day 09: Trek to Keldang (4270m) via Ganja La pass (5130m)

Day 10: Trek from Keldang to Dukpu (4040m).

Day 11: Trek from Dukpu to Tarkeghyang (2600m)

Day 12: Trek from Tarkeghyang to Shermathang (2590m)

Day 13: Trek from Shermathang to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (870m).

Day 14: Drive from Melamchi to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner.
