The Poon hill trekking, also known as Poon hill Ghorepani trek, it is a very popular short trek to the Annapurna range. The Poon hill trek is in the north of Pokhara, the Lake city which is 200 Kms west of Kathmandu. Poon hill trek is one of the best short trekking trips in Nepal.

Poon hill trek starts from Nayapul (Pokhara Baglung Highway) which is a suspension bridge over Modhi – Khola. The one hour drive from Pokhara takes the trekkers to Nayapul crossing. The Poon Hill trek trail passes through ethnic villages and beautiful farms.
The trekkers enjoy the views of the Machhapuchare (Fishtail) Peak. Trekkers reach the Ghorepani (Poon hill base camp) on the second day of the trekking. By one hour climb the next day morning trekkers reach Poon hill Nepal. From Poon hill one can get spectacular views of the major mountains of the western region including Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.
Ghorepani is fully covered by dense forests of rhododendron trees. Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal. These forests present breathe taking views during spring. The flowered trees and the panoramic views of the mountains together make the scene highly spectacular.
While descending back from Ghorepani the trekkers come through the Gurung village at Ghandruk. The Annapurna is in the background. Here the trekkers explore the traditional houses of the local people, their heritage, culture and the beautiful landscape.

Day 01: Arrival day in Nepal our representative welcome and assists to transfer hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul then trek to Tikhedunga (1480m).
Day 05: Trek from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2860m).
Day 06: Hiking to Poon Hill (3180m.) and trek to Tadapani (2630m).
Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m).
